Biography

The move to Perth wasn’t originally a long term plan but Hana fell in love with Perth instantly and has now lived in Perth for longer than any other country and has made it her home. Hana paints naturally and intuitively and finds constant inspiration from the often very juxtaposed cultures she experienced growing up and her joyful, yet often chaotic life as a mother of two. Hana graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2008 with a double major in Fine Arts & Philosophy, before moving on to study a Diploma of Education and pursuing work as a Secondary School art teacher. Whilst Hana found that Teaching wasn’t her passion, and she eventually moved into a corporate career, Hana’s passion for creativity has always stood firm and she continued to paint and explore her passions outside of the corporate environment.
